The chart compares the people in terms of the proportion of consume both vegetables and fruits every single day in the UK between 2001 and 2008.
Overall, the whole percentage in this chart increased from the start to end of the year ,however,  clear fluctuations can be seen on whole genders. Women always consumed more vegetables and fruits than other gender.

In 2001, the rate of women who ate vegetables and fruits ascended from around 20 percent and this number reached the peak by just over the 30 percent in 2006. The men of proportion had remained steadily until 2003 ,nevertheless  this proportion had experienced a substantial rise to over 25 percent in 2006. Likewise, children's percentage hadn't witnessed any change between 2001 and 2003, even though this number rised of more than 20 percent in 2007.

In 2006, women didn't prefer to consume as much both fruits and vegetables as previous years and this rate had decreased to roughly 28 percent in 2008. Similarly, the proportion of men had steadily reduced to around 26 percent ,however, this reducing trend wasn't  as much as women's number. Children's proportion declined from 25 percent to around 22 percent between 2007 and 2008.
