The graph compares the millions of individuals who use 3 diverse transportation options namely car,bus and train from 1970 and 2030.

Overall, while, the number of both car and train users have witnessed substantial ascend, the bus users have never experienced this over the period.

In 1970, the average  number of car users more than other 2 options with roughly 5 million, however this number steadily increased and reached a peak of around 7 million in 2020. Likewise, in spite of fact that the number of train passengers was the lowest in the beginning of period, this number overtook the bus users with increasing 4 million in around 2016.
In contrast, the number of  people who prefer to commute with bus plummet from approximately 4 million to just more than 3 million over the 30 years.
