IELTS section 1 writing task
This table compares the proportion of people who older
than 65 years old in three particular countries, namely Canada, Germany and UK
between 1988 to 2030.
Overall,
the percentage of people who 65 years old in Germany had gained upper hand on other
countries and it is expected that this situation will be remained same in the
future.
In
1988, Germany had more old population with just under a quarter, however Canada
and UK have almost similar rate with around 16% and 14% respectively. The percentage
of Germany had witnessed an increase to just over a quarter, likewise the rate
of Canada had increased by 4 percent and it is become approximately 20%.
It is
anticipated that Germany’s rate will be rose and this country will host a third
of older people in Germany in 2030. Likely, the percentage of people who 65
years old in Canada and UK are predicted to make up roughly 27% and 20%,
respectively.
