The pie charts elucidate the consumption of household trend in two countries namely UK and New Zealand from 1980 to 2008.

               Overall, proportion of leisure had remained major consumption in both years, however, in 2008 rate of utility bills had gained a upper hand on food consumption.

                The major expenditure was leisure with just over a quart in UK in 1980 and this rate had witnessed a tiny increase to 34 percent in the end of the period. Percentage of utility bills and other expenditures were 26 percent and just under 10% in 1980, nonetheless, both of them had experienced a tiny ascend to 28 percent and 11%, respectively. In contrast, the amount of food had  plummeted by 10 percent from just under a quart to 13%. Likewise, percentage of transport had reduced from 15% to 14% between 1980 and 2008.
