What should be government's priority about language
Some people believe governments should spend money in
saving languages of few speakers from dying out completely. Others think this
is waste of financial resources.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.
People are
divided in their opinion regarding whether authorities should spend national budget
for the purpose of preserving from some languages to extinct which speak by minority
or this tendency should upon deaf ears. Although some people believe that government
should protect some languages which might disappear, I believe that this
situation should turn in blind eyes to supply current developments for other
facilities.
On the one
hand, there may be several reasons why some individuals believe that rarely
using languages should be protected. Language is the first essential factor in
order to sustain a culture. Owing to the fact that cultures based on languages.
If any myths cannot be transfer from ancestors to distant future, these habits cannot
be repeated so that it might be vanished. As a result, civilizations might not
able to maintain their presence. However, government not manage to continue any
habits due to the fact that cutting-edge technologies and contemporary life
opportunities cause English language to commence main language.
By contrast,
I would side with those who proponents of it is waste of money that trying to consume
money with the aim of protecting uncommon languages. Due to contemporary life
condition individuals have to use some particular languages such as French,
English and so on. Therefore, seldom languages are insufficient in order to have
verbal conversation with others. Because, civilizations make international
agreements which are related with their job. As a result, even if authority spend
abundant of money in favour of these languages, this method would be inefficient.
A vivid example is African languages which are used by some tribes are not able
to survive in our era, unless users do not desire to be open to world.
Moreover, governments’ priority should be other facilities so that they might
supply countless benefits for civilizations. Rare languages solely serve
benefits for those who utilize these languages in their vague life. In this way
this situation could be considered a part of personal life. It means that there
are other services which have substantial effects on society such as education
and security. Consequently, governments should pay attention for these
facilities instead of wasting people’ taxes for fewer languages which will be disappeared.
In
conclusion, even though some people hold their belief about languages which have
possibility of vanished in the future should be protected, opponents of this
view think that this situation consist of wasting budget. I would be of the opinion
that authorities should not waste people’ s taxes for try to accomplish impossible
chance.
